Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (JML)

Because who needs a light saber anyway

First things first

This is a Galactic Legend (GL), so you have put literally everything else on hold until he’s done. And by done I mean relic 7 (R7) and with his Ultimate Ability (UA) unlocked. You won’t use JML’s UA much, but a GL is a GL. You have to put in the work.

It helps to use the JML Preset on gear.swgohevents.com to keep track of the gear you need.

JML currently has the longest list of requirements (reqs). If you have an older -developed- account, this might not be an issue for you. And it might be deceiving : it is possible to use JML as a starter route. Just don’t expect to have him any time soon.

Requirements

Start spending all of your Rank 1 Guild Event Tokens (GET) on Hermit Yoda (hermit) and then Wampa. You need to join a guild that runs -at least- the Heroic Pit (HPIT) raid as soon as you have your first 7* character (char). Being in a guild that runs Light Side (LS) Hoth Territory Battles (TB) helps if you don’t have Rebel Officer Leia Organa (ROLO). Start buying Logray from the Guild Store.

Here we go. We’re going to have routes within routes within a route here. This might take a while to plow through, but that’s what you get for choosing JML. There is a difference between the normal point in the game where it’s time to think about unlocking a GL and using JML as a starter route. The starter route just goes for R2-D2 (R2) in the quickest fashion possible.

Hermit 7*, then Wampa 7* in the GET store (this takes a long time but start immediately),
the R2 route,
the Commander Luke Skywalker (CLS) route,
the Chewbacca (chewie) route,
Threepio & Chewie (ch3p0/chewpio) (Light Side 7-A Hard),
the Han’s Millennium Falcon (milf) route,
the C-3PO (3p0) route,
the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker (JKL) route,
the BB-8 route,
the Rey Jedi Training (Daisy/JTR) route,
Wedge (Cantina 6-F) and Biggs (Galactic War Store, Cantina 3-G, Dark Side 4-A Hard) (together : Wiggs),
Mon Mothma (Light Side 5-E Hard), and
Rebel Y-Wing (Fleet 4-C Hard).

Tickets

Once you have all the above reqs to their minimum relic lvls, you can start to earn tickets (tix). They are like energy in a way, but only used for the GL events. Every attempt costs a certain amount of tix. If you fail the attempt, the tix are spent anyway.

I haven’t kept track of my ticket generation since the ticket overhaul. I used to average around 36.75 tix/day with three energy refreshes and 54.75 tix/day with six refreshes (all spent on the correct LS/DS nodes of course). I’m assuming this is similar now.

JML is a LS GL so you need LS tix. JML requires loads of gear, so use the gear.swgohevents.com page (set it to JML only) and farm whatever gear you can from LS nodes.

The tickets max out at 144/144. It’s smart to get it close to that cap before using them. You might want to change mods for the event, so that reduces the amount of mod swaps you have to do.

You need 8×15 tix for Tier 1 (T1), 4×30 for T2, 3×60 for T3. This gives you the 330 shards to unlock JML (and you want to have his gear and relic materials ready for when you do, if possible). T4 and T5 only give you a Title and a Portrait and both tiers cost 70 tix each. T6 is for the UA and costs 10×70 tix. His UA isn’t used all that much; so keep going, but no need to rush this last tier if you ask me. Don’t skip the UA of course, but it is powerful when you do get the opportunity to use it.

Tiers

Please watch a few Youtube videos before you attempt any of the tiers. You do not want to waste any tickets. I’d max out one tier at a time, so you don’t confuse yourself and you won’t need to swap mods as often.

Route Recommendation

You’ve finished a GL. This route is done.
